As we rely more on our electronic information, we can't ignore the need for security.  In the old economy we put up fences and locked doors to keep our inventory safe.  Now are most important assets are our intellectual property.  Our knowledge of our business and how we run it is likely what keeps us ahead.  With our connection to the Internet, these assets are available to everyone unless we put the electronic locks in place to secure out business.

According to Symantec, attacks against Internet sites are becoming more targeted.  The most targeted sites are eCommerce. The second is a bit of a surprise.  The second target in this list is Small Businesses.  This tells us that hackers are finding that your small business information is valuable.  It also tells us that small businesses are easy targets.
